World Day of Remembrance for Victims of Road Traffic Accidents

Today, Tempulli and the Kosovo Motoring Association AMRKS as a regular member of FEVR, held a joint coordination meeting with the Kosovo Forum for Road Safety, the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure and the Kosovo Police to mark the World Day of Remembrance of the victims in road traffic accidents, which will be held from November 18-21, 2021.

At the meeting was agreed that the activities of # WDoR2021 should last 3 days according to the following calendar and are also presented in the official WDoR calendar:

 November 18, 2021, time 10:00 – Launch of activities to mark the World Day of Remembrance of victims in road traffic accidents, location Lebane (Road to Podujeva);

 November 18, 2021 at 12:00 – Voluntary blood donation for persons injured in traffic accidents, location TEMPULLI Academy;

 November 19, 2021 at 10:00 – Roundtable discussion with representatives of institutions and participants from civil society on the topic “Safety of young people on the roads”, location TEMPULLI Academy;

 November 21, 2021 at 18:00 – Lighting candles for all victims of traffic accidents (National Theater).

# WDoR2021 focuses on reducing traffic speeds – Low speeds, which have the potential to prevent many deaths and serious injuries, especially those of pedestrians and all other road users – children, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

Therefore, the contribution of each of us will help promote and increase road safety for all traffic participants.
