AMRKS signs Co-operation agreement with University of Pristina for road infrastructure assessment
Pristina February 23, 2021
The European Road Assessment Programme in Kosovo (EuroRAP) is also joined by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pristina “Hasan Pristina”.
Today, co-operation agreements have been signed between the Kosovo Motorization Association (AMRKS) and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pristina.
UP Rector Prof. Naser Sahiti, FIM Dean, Prof. Ahmet Shala and Professor Muhammad Krasniqi, leader of the national road safety programme, attended the meeting. The agreement contains scientific research activities and common applications in assessing road infrastructure, i.e. whether roads in the country meet standards according to European safety protocols. This was made possible after EuroRAP licensed AMRKS with a national license for the development of the central and local road scheme in Kosovo for three years.
This agreement is yet another example of joining forces from different sectors for a single purpose – improving road safety at a national level!
