4th edition “Road Safety”- (theoretical part)

This year, the College of Applied Technical Sciences “Tempulli” and Kosovo Association of Motorization – AMRKS in cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology organize the fourth edition of the activity “Road Safety”, an activity which now is traditional at national level, with representative students of primary and lower secondary schools from different municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo, who are selected by MEST.
Participants in this edition were a total of 20 PLSS from 6 municipalities of the Republic of Kosovo (Prishtina, Lipjan, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Suhareka and Mitrovica), whereas in order to ensure good progress of the activities, the students were divided into two groups:
First group – 3, 4 and 5 grades,
Second group – 6, 7, and 8 grades
Within the theoretical part, from 29 March to 1 April 2016, the working groups visited the selected schools. Unlike the previous editions where the students have completed the tests in order to evaluate their knowledge about the traffic rules and signs, this year was different. The questionnaires were distributed to the students and based on the results obtained from the questionnaires will be published the research aiming to identify the main factors which affect the safety of students’ movement during their road from home to school and vice versa.
The fourth edition of the activity “Road Safety” is supported by the Kosovo Forum for Road Safety, Kosovo Police and Municipality of Pristina.
