Kosovo once again is part of the 6th Global Road Safety week
At the request of the United Nations General Assembly, this year will mark the Sixth Week of Global Road Safety of the United Nations, where Kosovo is part of the activities.
Join us in celebrating the 6th United Nations Global Road Safety Week which this year marks the theme Streets for Life # Love30. The week with official activities will be held from 17 to 23 May 2021.
Low-speed roads save lives and are the heart of every community. Speed restrictions at 30 km / h, create security for all by being safe, healthy, green and livable roads, in other words, roads for life. We are calling on policy makers to act on low-speed roads in our country, limiting the speed of movement to 30 km / h, where people walk, live, play safely and freely.
Join the # Love30 campaign to demand speed limits of 30 km / h, being the official rate allowed for vehicle movement in cities, towns and villages across our country.
In preparation for this week’s celebration, we are happy to announce that the campaign website is www.amrks.org and you can also find us on our social networks which contain a package of campaign posters with photos , ideas and many ways how we can convey the common message to the road participant, who will become the voice of road safety. We invite you to cooperate in order to make Kosovo a model in the region and beyond with quality activities in the celebration of the 6th Global Road Safety Week.
The 6th United Nations Global Road Safety Week will help build momentum for the launch of the Global Road Safety Action Plan 2021-2030 where we hope you too will support all activities for greater safety great on the street.
Let’s work together to make the Week a huge success!
