Kosovo representatives participate at the Road Safety Convention in Bulgaria

The Bulgarian Road Federation, along with the International Road Federation and the European Road Federation has organized the International Conference on Road Safety titled “New Technologies, World and European Practices”.
This conference was held under the auspices of Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works (MRDPW), Road Infrastructure Agency(API) and Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The conference was opened by Mr. Nikolaj Nankov, Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, and dozens of renowned international and Bulgarian speakers and experts presented the successful world experiences, good practices, innovative technologies and possible solutions for improving road safety and for reducing the number of victims in traffic.
The conference had about 350 participants from different countries and continents and thus provided a unique platform for dialogue regarding this matter among all stakeholders at regional, European and global level – including government institutions, the non-government sector, academia and others.
This conference is also supported by international institutions such as the International Road Federation, the European Road Federation, EuroRAP, etc.
There are also Kosovo representatives who are participating in this conference, such as representatives of Kosovo Forum for Road Safety, Ms Shpresa Mulliqi, Senior Official, OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Major Jeton Rexhepi, Kosovo Police and Mr Muhamed Krasniqi from College Tempulli.
