Sunday, November 15 – With the slogan “It’s time to remember – say NO to road crimes” many citizens marched from the Square “Zahir” to the Square “Skanderbei” in Pristina. Their aim was to convey awareness message to the citizens and to the institutions for more caution in traffic. The activities continued by marching with bicycles in the highway Pristine-Peje, which is the most frequented road in Kosovo. Whereas in the evening they lit 112 candles by the National Theatre in memory of the 112 people who died in traffic accidents during the period of January – November 2015.

All the above activities were civic initiatives supported by civil society and some domestic institutions, the Office of the President of Kosovo, MI, Kosovo Police, Municipality of Prishtina, College Tempulli, Kosovo Association of Motorists-AMRKS, Kosovo Forum of Road Safety, Blood Transfusion, the Fire Brigade and Cyclist’s Community.

Together we can do more to prevent the bad and to provide more road safety.
