AMRKS participates in the Innovation Workshop “Safer roads for people and the planet.”

The leader of KosovoRAP, Professor Muhamed Krasniqi participated in the Innovation Workshop “Safer roads for people and the planet” organized by iRAP. This two-day workshop, in addition to the interesting presentations and discussions, was a very good opportunity for expanding the further networking of AMRKS with other organizations from around the world. During numerous meetings with experts in road safety innovation, policies, technologies, and investments from around the world were discussed as well as finance that could be used to implement change and deliver activities under the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety, 2021-2030.

Professor Krasniqi held numerous meetings with the highest levels of iRAP, to discuss the forms of expanding cooperation, focusing on Kosovo and the countries of the Balkan region. During the meetings, he received unreserved support from the highest management of iRAP, such as Mr. Rob McInerney, CEO of iRAP, Mr. Greg Smith, Global Program Director of iRAP, Mrs. Samar Abouraad, head of iRAP for road safety for Europe, Mr. Ferry Smith, iRAP Board member and many other partners.
