The campaign “Safety starts with you” is launched by AMRKS
The Kosovo Association of Motoring – AMRKS, with the support of Tempulli College as an academic partner and the Institute for Road Safety and Transport Research as a scientific partner, has launched a national informational campaign aimed at raising public awareness about road safety and appropriate behavior in difficult weather conditions and emergency situations.
The campaign, titled “Safety Starts with You,” is built on a simple and easily understandable symbolism for citizens:
a week has 7 days, a month has 4 weeks, and safety is every day.
In this spirit, AMRKS has structured the campaign into four thematic weeks, during which 7 practical tips or guidelines are published each week, focusing on four key safety groups and situations:

First week: 7 tips for safe driving during winter

Second week: 7 tips for pedestrians walking in winter conditions

Third week: 7 tips for driving in rainy conditions and on water-covered roads

Fourth week: 7 evacuation guidelines in cases of flooding, based on international emergency standards
This approach aims to ensure that each day of the week delivers a clear, practical, and direct safety message, making the campaign continuous, structured, and easy for the public to follow.
The “Safety Starts with You” campaign includes a series of digital publications with concrete guidelines and advice for citizens, with the goal of informing and educating the public about the risks posed by adverse weather conditions, as well as promoting responsible behavior in traffic and during emergency situations.
AMRKS emphasizes that adherence to these guidelines directly contributes to accident prevention, the reduction of consequences in emergency situations, and the enhancement of overall community safety.
The campaign will be carried out through the social media platforms and digital channels of AMRKS, Tempulli College, and the Institute for Road Safety and Transport Research.
